The Humbles Ones is a series of "portraits" of simple field plants, I lie down on the ground and approach the flower in a very intimate way. There is a sort of epiphanic magic in contemplating closely these field plants, some typical of the traditional cuisine of the poor and the "medicine of the humble", it is like wanting to give them attention, remembrance and dignity.

I look for a connection, emotional, intuitive, aesthetic and when this is active, the shot occurs. Everything else happens in post production.
